Electronics Industry Alliance Calls for Less Bureaucracy
A clear path for more innovation and investment.
Dear Customers,
In my capacity as Managing Director of GLYN and member of the board of the Fachverband der deutschen Bauelemente Distribution (Association of German Distributors of Construction Elements), I would like to draw your attention to the joint initiative of the three associations FED, COGP and FBDi.
The German electronics industry is a key innovative sector. It is characterised primarily by medium-sized companies like yours and ours. Together, we are the main drivers of the transformation to environmentally friendly technologies.
Growing bureaucracy and reporting requirements distract us from our core tasks. They reduce efficiency and impact our competitiveness. Some regulations are useful, others divert too many of our valuable resources into administration and over-documentation. We want to invest our intelligence and know-how more in environmentally friendly, sustainable prosperity.
The FBDi, the FED and the COGD have therefore founded the ‘Verbändeallianz Elektronik’.
This has launched an ‘appeal against overregulation’.
Do you have a similar impression in your work environment?
Then support the appeal until 31 January 2025. Give it your vote too. Together and democratically, we can achieve a lot of positive things:
- APPEAL against overregulation
- Alternatively, via the FBDi website:
- The German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Associations call for massive cuts in bureaucracy - the FBDI
Thank you very much!
Kind regards, Thomas Gerhardt
