Cyber Resilience Act:
Staying Ahead with Strong Partnerships
“What does the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) mean for me and my company?”
In short:
The CRA is an EU regulation designed to strengthen cybersecurity for products with digital elements. This includes hardware with software or firmware, as well as pure software solutions.
The goal is to better protect consumers and businesses from cyberattacks and to raise security standards for digital products across Europe.
Implementation in the EU by the end of 2027:
In the future, manufacturers will be required to prove the security of their products throughout the entire product lifecycle — from development and production to regular security updates and vulnerability management. Only then will products be allowed to be placed on the EU market.
Well-prepared and well-informed:
Starting in 2025, GLYN, together with its partners Accso and NOTOS Xperts, will provide guidance and information through lectures, events, and customer meetings on the practical implications of the CRA for processes, products, and supply chains.
Manuel Schreiner (Lead Industry 4.0, Accso) and Erdem Durmus (Managing Director and Data Protection Expert, NOTOS Xperts) offer in-depth legal insights and practical recommendations on the following key questions:
- What obligations apply to manufacturers, importers, and distributors?
- Which organizational and technical measures are required?
- How can implementation be efficient and future-proof?
Through this collaboration, GLYN customers receive reliable guidance and concrete support for implementing the new EU requirements.
