SUPPORT Always Grounded – Even Above the Clouds:
A Look Inside the GLYN Office in Unterhaching

In the GLYN newsletter, you can read more than just the latest technical innovations and trends.

Today, we invite you to take a little trip with us to our office in Unterhaching.

Unterhaching is located in the commuter belt in the southeast of Munich. Surrounded by many high-tech companies, you have the best view of the Upper Bavarian Alpine panorama - when the south foehn wind is blowing, of course. Rainer Jehn's team takes care of their main task, which is to be there for our customers.

Now find out what our colleagues are passionate about in addition to ‘SUPPORT’. What kind of ‘person’, what kind of ‘personality’ is behind the names of the e-mails you receive from us? It's going to be exciting, human and entertaining.

GLYN-PR: ‘Rainer, when you are not out and about on behalf of your customers, what do you like to do in the greater Munich area in your free time?’

Rainer: ‘Munich offers so many possibilities for leisure activities that it would be impossible to mention everything here. Everyone knows what Munich stands for: beer, white sausage, sweet mustard, the Wies'n - in short, cosiness and joie de vivre. And then there is the large car manufacturer with the blue and white spinning propeller in its brand logo, a record champion in football and the largest electronics trade fair in our industry.’

GLYN-PR: ‘Sounds very good in culinary terms. Apart from Bayern Munich, there are a lot of blue and white colour impressions in contrast to our company colour, which is SUPPORT IS RED! How does that affect your passion?’

Rainer: ‘Our customers appreciate our SUPPORT red passion. We are passionate about SUPPORT IS RED! Our team in Unterhaching currently consists of five members: two for on-site customer service and three contacts in internal services. We try to coordinate with the customer as quickly as possible.’

GLYN-PR: ‘That's how it should be! And now to our question: Who is behind the names of your e-mails? What personal information would you like to share with our customers about you?’

Rainer:

‘Our enthusiasm is extremely chips-heavy. There's me, Rainer Jehn, Sales Office Manager, with a passion for travelling to faraway places.

The sea plays an important role for me. I can relax for hours looking at the waves and the open sea, hoping to catch a glimpse of a whale or a pod of dolphins.

But then I need the change of city or green nature again. After every trip, I am happy to arrive back in my Bavarian homeland.

I enjoy being in the kitchen just as much as I enjoy lying on a deckchair on the balcony. In between, I do something for my fitness, but everything in moderation. 😁

Oliver Weinrich
Field Account Manager / Deputy Sales Office Manager

In addition to his love of "Chips" 😉 and his 16 years of service at the GLYN office in Bavaria, Oli enjoys the regional proximity of the mountains.

He takes advantage of this in all seasons for all kinds of mountain activities and motorcycling.

Janina Schubert-Mücka
Commercial Account Manager

In addition to her love of "Chips", which have accompanied her through several stages of her professional career, Janina, as a newcomer to the area, has discovered her love for Bavaria and Italy.

A trip to the ‘southernmost’ lake in Bavaria is a must at least once a year.

She cultivates her Bella Italia feeling at home on and with her Vespa GTS300.

Velko Tihomirov
Junior Commercial Account Manager

Despite his personal love for ‘Chips’, he doesn't have much time left to pursue his favourite hobbies and activities.

However, there is one thing he can definitely do: as a full-time father and passionate cook 😊😉, he takes every opportunity to bring a taste of Bavaria to the table.

Peter Thieken
Field Account Manager

Besides his enthusiasm for crisps, his main passion is his wife.
His other passion is water. Starting with the air mattress, moving on to the inflatable boat and windsurfing, Peter has been an enthusiastic SUPber for several years now.’

GLYN PR: ‘Thank you very much, Rainer. Each of you is special in your own way and an important part of the team. This is very personal. I'm sure that one or other of your customers shares your hobbies and passions.’

Rainer: ‘I would like to emphasise once more for our customers: we are who we are and we are here for you!’
