The EU Cyber Resilience Act requires reliable protection. With Secure Vault High (PSA Level 3), the xG29 integrates state-of-the-art mechanisms such as hardware encryption, key management, and authentication. This ensures your IoT devices remain protected against both local and remote attacks.
Three Cores for Maximum Flexibility
At its center, the Arm Cortex-M33 core runs at 76.8 MHz with DSP and floating-point unit. It is supported by two additional Cortex-M0+ cores – one dedicated to security, the other to the radio module. The result: more performance, enhanced security, and outstanding energy efficiency.
Smart Energy Use – Powered by a Single Button Cell
Thanks to the integrated DC/DC boost converter operating from 1.2 V, applications can run even on a single alkaline or coin cell. A special deep-sleep mode (<20 nA) allows safe storage or transport with batteries already installed.
Precise Monitoring Instead of Rough Estimation
The integrated Coulomb Counter precisely tracks energy consumption and enables reliable runtime prediction. This adds safety in critical applications and ensures timely energy management.

Starter Kit xG29 Pro Kits for a Fast Start
SILICON LABS offers several starter kits for the xG29.
One combination consists of the WSTK base board and a pluggable radio board.
The EFR32xG29 +8 dBm (Buck) Pro Kit (xG29-PK6034A) is a development platform featuring numerous sensors and a wide range of peripherals around the EFR32BG29.
For implementing a boost system, the WSTK can alternatively be equipped with an EFR32xG29 +8 dBm radio board (xG29-RB4413A).
An additional option is the Bluetooth LE +4 dBm radio board (BG29-RB4420A) with the WLCSP chip.
