Pure E-Core Architecture
The special highlight of the three platforms is their pure E-core architecture, which delivers maximum energy efficiency while still providing solid computing performance. The Thermal Design Power (TDP) ranges from 6 to 15 watts. This allows even demanding embedded tasks to be executed in an energy-saving and cost-efficient manner — perfect for compact, mobile, and fanless designs.
Alder Lake-N and Amston Lake form the first generation of these energy-optimized platforms. They include, among others, the Intel® Processor N-Series, Intel Atom® X-Series, and the Intel® Core™ i3 N-Series.
Twin Lake continues this line and introduces additional improvements in energy efficiency, graphics performance, and I/O functionality. The platform is particularly well-suited for smart, connected devices.
