2.5-Inch SATA SSD with Up to 15.36 TB Capacity
Now there is significantly more ‘memory per square foot’ with high-performance SSDs.
Manufacturer EXASCEND expands its 2.5-inch SATA SSD series SA4, SI4 and SE4 to a capacity of up to 15.36 TB.
This advancement of SATA SSD storage is suitable for demanding applications in telecommunications, edge computing, medical imaging or digital network video recorders.
Highest efficiency for all environments
EXASCEND's SATA SSDs are equipped with 3D TLC NAND flash technology. They use Direct-Write-to-TLC to ensure stable read and write performance. At the same time, they prevent a drop in performance when the SLC cache is exhausted.
EXASCEND soldered 16 NAND flash ICs, each with 1 TB capacity, on a single circuit board in a slim 7-mm package. This design innovation maximises storage density and also provides space for hardware-based power loss protection (PLP). Proprietary firmware provides further advantages. SuperCruise™ technology improves write performance. At the same time, optional TCG Opal 2.01 encryption provides additional data security.
These features make the SA4, SI4 and SE4 series the ideal upgrade for conventional hard drives:
- SE4 – Enterprise Series
The SE4 series operates in the standard temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The series offers maximum performance through improved energy efficiency and optimised power consumption. Enterprise SATA SSDs for different requirements – SSDs for high read volumes, mixed use or high write volumes. - SI4 – Industrial Series
The SI4 series offers stable operation even under extreme conditions. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C ensures reliability for industrial applications. - SA4 – Automotive Series
The SA4 series is specifically designed for demanding automotive applications. For mission-critical applications, attention has been paid to enhanced robustness. With additional protection through protective coating and underfilling technologies, the SSDs provide excellent protection against moisture, shocks and vibrations.
For applications that require higher endurance, the SATA SSDs are also available in pseudo SLC mode (pSLC). These support capacities of up to 3.84 TB with endurance performance of 5 DWPD.
