The New EDT 25 Series TFTs: The Same Connection Configuration for all Three Display Sizes

Whether 10.1", 12.1" or 15.6" - the displays in EDT's 25 series are equipped with a standardized pin assignment:

both for LCD and LED
as well as for the touch variant used

If required, you can switch between the sizes, e.g. to display different versions of your product or to keep it future-compatible for future applications.

Resolution
The resolutions used are 1280 x 800 (WXGA) for the 10.1" and 12.1" modules and 1920 x 1080 (FHD) for the 15.6" modules.

Interface
All modules use the familiar LVDS in 24-bit VESA format as the LCD interface, single-channel for the 10.1" and 12.1" and dual-channel LVDS for the 15.6".

Backlight
An LED backlight driver is available for each module. The LED driver is supplied via a standard operating voltage of 12 V. The backlight can be switched on and off using the ON/OFF input (BL_EN). Furthermore, the brightness can be conveniently varied between 0 % and 100 % duty using a PWM (BL_PWM).

Touch panel
The 25 series is available both with and without a touch panel. To ensure a high level of interference immunity with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the PCAP variants are equipped with an AX80A or AX112A touch controller from TouchNetix. EDT has entered into a partnership with TouchNetix. This enables fast and precise technical support.

The touch panel or touch controller used is available in two different versions for all display modules with PCAP. Both the IIC with a 10-pin connection lug (FPC) and the USB interface with a convenient USB-C connection are available.

From a minimum order quantity of 100 units
These displays are available from GLYN from a minimum order quantity of 100 units.

The display series is specified with an operating temperature of -30 to 85 °C.

It is of course possible to customize individual components of the new 25 display series. Do you need a decorative glass panel adapted to your housing front?

You can also take full advantage of the integrated IPS technology with these modules. This means that all variants can be used in any position in your application.

You only need two operating voltages for the modules with Touch-IIC, 3.3 V for LCD and PCAP, and 12 V for the backlight. The touch version with USB requires three (plus 5 V for the touch controller).
