CAT.6A connectors are perfect for high-speed data transmission for communication in automation control systems. Sometimes, however, they are too bulky, for example when the cable has to be pulled through a cable duct.

The solution: a field-assemblable connector that can be easily mounted without tools.

Even if the exact cable length is initially unclear, field assembly is ideal.

Suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications

The Y-Circ M CAT6A connector from YAMAICHI ELECTRONICS is field assemblable and suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Thanks to its slim design, it also fits into space-critical installation situations.

Its mating face complies with the standardized M12 X coding according to DIN EN 61076-2-109.

Also for demanding environments

The zinc die-cast housing of the Y-Circ M connector ensures optimum transmission properties even in demanding environments. When mated, it achieves protection class IP67, which means it is optimally protected against adverse environmental influences.

Simple and fast connection

The simple assembly of the M12 connector from the Y-Circ series also brings an enormous time advantage:

Strip the insulation and press the cores of the cable into the color-coded slots in the rear part of the two-part connector - done!

Once the protruding wires have been cut off, the IDC insulation displacement contacts connect quite automatically when the two connector parts are screwed together.
