What’s the New UI² Family Concept All About?
The industry's requirements for TFT displays are becoming increasingly demanding. For example, the viewing angle is becoming more and more important when selecting a suitable display. Contrast and brightness are also becoming increasingly important decision criteria. In addition, an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C is no longer sufficient for many applications.
Reason enough for us to further expand the GLYN TFT family concept.
The new family concept includes a wide range of products currently available in five sizes: 3.5", 4.3", 5.0", 5.7" and 7.0".
The extended temperature range of -30 to 85°C allows the displays to be used in extreme temperature environments. The wide viewing angle is achieved through the use of IPS panels. The displays also offer a brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and a LED lifetime of 50K hours thanks to the integrated high performance LEDs. If the brightness of 1,000 cd/m² is not required, the lifetime of the backlight can be increased by simply dimming the LEDs.
