What is Behind the New UI² Family Concept?
The industry's requirements of TFT displays are becoming increasingly demanding. For example, the viewing angle is becoming more and more important when selecting a suitable display. Contrast and brightness are also increasingly important decision-making criteria. Furthermore, an operating temperature of -20 to 70 °C is no longer sufficient for many applications.
This is reason enough for us to further expand the GLYN TFT family concept.
The new family concept includes a wide product range of currently five sizes 3.5‘, 4.3’, 5.0‘, 5.7’ and 7.0’.
Thanks to the extended temperature range of -30 to 85°C, the displays can also be used in extreme temperature ranges. The wide viewing angle is achieved by using IPS panels. The displays also impress with a brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours thanks to integrated high-performance LEDs. If the brightness of 1,000 cd/m² is not required, the lifespan of the backlighting can be increased by simply dimming the LEDs.
