REACH

Ordinance (EC) No. 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), a legal provision regulating chemical substances is primarily intended to protect human health and the environment.

As a distributor, GLYN does not certify REACH and RoHS compliance on behalf of the respective original manufacturers. GLYN encourages manufacturers to make their environmental information available on their websites and works closely with its suppliers to provide its customers with relevant information / declarations available from the manufacturers. Below you will find a compilation of supplier information on the presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above a limit value of 0.1% (w/w).

RoHS

EU Directive RoHS

Directive 2011/65/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances (RoHS II), which replaces Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS I), is aimed at electrical and electronic equipment. It is intended to prevent harmful effects on human health and the environment. Since 22.07.2019, the amendment 2015/863/EU, extension of Annex II of Directive 2011/65/EU, is also applicable. Herewith the list of prohibited ingredients was extended.
