TOSHIBA - Linear Image Sensor Solution

Linear-Image-Sensor-2

A linear image sensor is a solid-state device that converts an optical image into an analogue signal in a line-by-line fashion. There are two types of linear image sensors with distinct circuit configurations: CMOS image sensors and CCD image sensors. Linear image sensors are especially suitable for applications such as copier scanning components, image scanners, barcode readers and bank note recognition systems in banking terminals.

TOSHIBA has been an industry leader in linear image sensors for scanning applications for many years and supplies a wide range of products to key market segments. TOSHIBA is expanding its portfolio of image sensors for sensor technology and focusing on developing technologies and products for a wide range of applications.
