Did you know that the manufacturer SENSIRION has already successfully produced and put into use over one billion sensors?

This billion mark was "cracked" on 08.07.2021 with an SCD4x CO2 sensor - a major milestone in the still young history of the company. SENSIRION was founded almost 23 years ago as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, thus laying the foundation for the success of the Swiss company.

In just a few years, the sensor manufacturer has established itself as the market leader in the field of humidity and temperature sensor technology. Incidentally, around 80 % of the sensors produced to date come from the field of humidity and temperature sensor technology.

Portfolio expanded
SENSIRION has greatly expanded its product portfolio in recent years. The manufacturer now offers groundbreaking sensor solutions in various markets that enable new applications or solve challenges in existing applications.

Today, the product range includes humidity and temperature sensors as well as other sensors to measure environmental conditions.
These include CO2, fine dust, VOCs and formaldehyde.

Furthermore, mass flow meters for gases and liquids as well as mass flow controllers for gases are available. The manufacturer's product range also includes gas meter modules and differential pressure sensors.
