Swiss precision for over 20 years:
SENSIRION cracks the billion mark in sensors
Did you know that the manufacturer SENSIRION has already successfully produced and put into use over one billion sensors?
This billion mark was "cracked" on 08.07.2021 with an SCD4x CO2 sensor - a major milestone in the still young history of the company. SENSIRION was founded almost 23 years ago as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, thus laying the foundation for the success of the Swiss company.
Delivers precise measurement results:
First fine dust sensor with MCERTS certification
The SPS30 from SENSIRION is the first fine dust sensor for the mass market with MCRTS certification for its performance.
The certification further attests that the SPS30 can be easily integrated into applications that must comply with the European air quality standard DIN EN 15267.
The MCERTS certification programme was created by the UK Environment Agency and is based on international and European standards. This programme ensures high quality monitoring of environmental data.
Thanks to low power dissipation:
ARM successfully follows in the footsteps of x86
Powerful ARM with a sophisticated low-power concept.
As in the consumer sector, the ARM architecture is also becoming increasingly important for industrial applications. The highly efficient processors operate with low power dissipation compared to the X86 derivatives from INTEL and AMD.
Simply via USB to the IOT application:
Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 module as USB dongle
Plugged in, ready for operation, connected to the Internet of Things.
LAIRD Connectivity is expanding its product portfolio of robust small IoT modules with a USB dongle variant.
All modules in the Sterling series can be used globally and have all the necessary certifications.
Robust e-MMC family based on BiCS Flash™ 3D:
Leading Edge Technology from the Inventor of Flash
The embedded Multi Media Card (eMMC™) is a very popular storage solution.
It is reliable, easy to integrate and cost-effective.
The inventor of flash technology KIOXIA (formerly TOSHIBA) now presents its new eMMC™ family with the state-of-the-art 3D BiCS Flash™.

Computational Storage - NGD SSDs
Tomorrow's SSD can do more than just store data.
The volume of data worldwide is increasing exponentially. But without analysis, all this data is worthless. EDGE computing offers decentralised processing of large amounts of data. However, this requires the data to be transferred to the central processing unit. This leads to a heavy load on the overall system.
