High performance in an extremely compact space:
The new ADVANTECH SMARC 2.0/2.1 module with i.MX8M Mini processors offers high performance and excellent value for money.

You can choose between three processor cores for the desired performance class:

  • i.MX8M Mini Solo
  • i.MX8M Mini Dual
  • i.MX8M Mini Quad with four ARM Cortex A53 cores

With minimal power consumption, i.MX8M Mini CPUs are recommended as the ideal solution for "Low Power" applications. They cut a good figure in terms of price/performance in direct comparison with conventional i.MX8M CPUs.

On-board with extensive equipment and interfaces
ADVANTECH supplements the efficient CPU with a bridge from MIPI to LVDS or Display Port (DP) on the SMARC module. Furthermore, an integrated USB hub provides four additional USB 2.0 interfaces and GbE MDI is implemented via PHY. RTC and QSPI are also on board. 

The module is available with soldered RAM and eMMC data storage as an option. You can choose the capacity flexibly and adjust it to your needs.
All this is available in the super compact SMARC format on a footprint of only 82 x 50 mm.

Development made easy
The manufacturer's ROM-DB5901 Development Board is a perfect complement to ADVANTECH's SMARC. This allows you to quickly connect your peripherals and shortens your development time. In addition to an Open Source BSP, reference drivers, test software and hardware, you will receive in-depth checklists, as well as layout and circuit diagrams for your carrier board development.
