The "turbocharged" ISO gate driver for high-speed switches
Ideal for controlling Power MOSFETs and IGBTs in switch-mode power supplies, inverters and motor control systems.
The ISO drivers of the Si823Hx series from SILICON LABS provide symmetrical 4 A control with a robust driver output of 30 V.
The "turbo lag" is extremely small here - the propagation delay is only 30 ns (max.)
The drivers support a dielectric strength of 5000 V at the output pins. Overvoltage protection and a high resistance to electromagnetic interference are also guaranteed.
The high CMTI of 125 kV/µs is a distinctive feature of the Si823Hx series.
CMTI stands for 'Common Mode Transient Immunity'. This describes the capacity of an isolator to maintain safe and normal operation when it is subjected to a high common mode transient on one
(or both) sides of the isolator. The CMTI is specified as the maximum voltage slew rate.
