The commercial DRAM market focuses on the production of DDR4 modules.

Nevertheless, a huge number of applications in the network and embedded industry are currently unable to upgrade to the latest generation.

These continue to require DDR3 memories, such as VLP, RDIMMS or SO-DIMMs.

Several large manufacturers have already sent End-of-Life (EOL) announcements for DDR3 to their customers.
