Thanks to the cooperation between manufacturers, distributors and industrial companies, there is a standardised TFT family with diagonal sizes from 3.5” to 7.0”.
Long-term availability
For industry, long-term availability with as few product changes as possible is very important. The global TFT market unfortunately has its own rules, and these often include discontinuations. How can you get to grips with this?
In collaboration with the Taiwanese manufacturer, Emerging Display Technologies (EDT), displays were sought for the European market that have a long product service life. These were then pooled into a family and standardised. For nearly 10 years, all diagonal sizes from 3.5” to 7.0” have been available as before.
Well-coordinated logistics and a variety of projects makes it possible for our customers to not have to worry about any high MOQ.
Flexible and safe at the same time
How is it possible to achieve a degree of safety with these displays? This is achieved through a special circuit board. As a result, all displays in the TFT family have the same interface. This circuit board offers flexibility and safety at the same time. If anything should change on the TFT panel (glass substrate) or the driver ICs, the circuit board can be adjusted so that the compatibility is maintained.
