An MXM connector that can take any load.
The BEC-0.5-230-S9-xF-R-EDC by YAMAICHI sets new standards for robustness.

Its attachment is so stable that it can withstand forces of 460N while remaining fully functional.

It's unique: you can fix the plugged-in module to the board, using the additional M2 screws. This reliably maintains its position, even when subjected to hard knocks and vibrations.

Ideal for Infotainment:
The plug connector offers you an MXM standard, combined with a Q7 standard for a perfect graphics link. This 90° SMT plug connector has 230 contacts for a 0.5 mm pitch. As the only plug connector that can be fastened to the module with screws, it is regarded as the trailblazer when it comes to stability and robustness.
   
Larger SMT tabs ensure an additional high mechanical stability.

The BEC-0.5-230-S9-xF-R-EDC was approved for the automotive sector. It can withstand both extreme heat and cold.

The Q7 standard defines graphics modules and their interface characteristics. The modules are inter-exchangeable without further adaptation.

The BEC plug connector supports the latest graphics standards such as PCIExpress, HDMI or DisplayPort. The plug face is compatible with modules corresponding to the MXM1.0 and Q7 standards. Their height of 7.8 mm (module height 5 mm) makes it easy to use in restricted spaces. 30 plug cycles are guaranteed.

Innovative tolerance compensation -
more secure contact due to unique design The special design ensures that PCB tolerances are securely and reliably compensated for. The use of modules without a phase protector is also possible. This saves you time and money. The manufacturer guarantees 100% secure contact as a result of the innovative new contact design.

The insulation body is made from LCP and the contacts from phosphor bronze. The contact surfaces are available with gold-plating and in three different plating thicknesses, from Au flash to 30 µinch.
